Delete your account & data
You can ask us to delete your Comsend account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page tells you how, what gets deleted, and the limited records a law firm is legally required to keep.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@white-rabbit.com.au from the contact address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my Comsend account". Tell us your registered name so we can locate the account.
We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days, then email you confirmation.
What we delete
- Your profile: display name and profile photo.
- Your softphone/device registration and the credentials issued to your account.
- Your account record and contact/directory entry.
- Message and call-routing metadata tied to your account that we are not legally required to retain.
For Comsend Secret, your chat history and encryption keys live on your own device — uninstalling the app removes them; our relay only ever holds undelivered encrypted messages and deletes them on delivery.
What may be retained, and why
Where White Rabbit operates Comsend for a law firm, a small set of records may need to be kept to meet that firm's legal and professional obligations — for example communications that form part of a client matter, or trust-related records, which Australian legal-practice rules require firms to retain for a set period. These are held under the firm's control for that period and are not used for marketing. We also keep minimal records where the law requires (e.g. to comply with a legal request). Everything outside those obligations is deleted.
